PGL Family Adventures at Half Term: four nights now from just £159

Remaining May half term family breaks at PGL’s adventure centres in the UK are now discounted, with prices pitched at just £159 per person, representing a massive saving of up to £800 for a family of four!

The five-day/four-night breaks all start Monday 28 May and include simple but ensuite accommodation (parents and children in separate rooms), all meals, activities, instruction and equipment, as well as family-focussed evening fun.

The breaks are offered at PGL’s family adventure centres Barton Hall in Devon, Caythorpe Court in Lincolnshire and Liddington in Wiltshire.

Now, parents and children alike pay just £159 per person, saving up to £230 per parent, and up to £170 per child on original brochure prices.

The biggest saving is at PGL’s fabulous adventure centre above Torbay in Devon, where four nights at Barton Hall will now cost a family of two adults and two children aged five to 18 years just £636 (£159 x four), saving a huge £800 off the original price!

Barton Hall is set in 46 acres of the English Riviera, with distant sea views and amazing facilities including an outdoor heated swimming pool (in use for half term), zip wires, giant swings and a lake where canoeing and raft building take place. Other activities (which are also organised at Caythorpe Court and Liddington) include archery, fencing, abseiling and ropes courses.

With this offer, the equivalent saving on the Caythorpe Court and Liddington breaks is an amazing £680 for a family of four.  Quote MAY199 when booking.

Children two to four years are also welcome, and are free, but must be supervised at all times by a parent, which impacts on the adult’s ability to take part in activities.

Second child goes free on PGL Easter family active holidays

PGL is opening seven of its Family Active centres this Easter with a choice of two-night and four-night breaks between 30 March and 13 April, with free places for children.

Every paying adult can take two children on holiday, and pay only for the first one: the second child (up to a generous 18 years of age) is completely free and represents a saving of up to £279 on a four-night break at PGL Liddington in Wiltshire.

“Free child places are often dependent on there being two paying adults, so this is a particularly good deal for single parents,” says the company’s head of holidays Steve Hougham.

A multi-activity break at PGL’s Marchants Hill centre in Surrey might include anything from a thrilling Trapeze swing to a ‘scary’ ropes course, fencing and archery skills or the sheer fun of Aeroballing, depending on the timetable put together by PGL staff.

Here, a two-night break starting 13 April costs £155 for an adult and £139 for the first child aged six to 18 inclusive.  A second child is entirely free – representing a saving of £139.  A four-night break starting 9 April costs £249 for an adult and £225 for the first child aged six to 18 inclusive.  A second child is free – saving £225.

Accommodation is in simple multi-bedded en-suite family rooms.  The centre has a modern sports hall for indoor facilities, and the 45 acres of grounds include go-kart and motor-sports tracks, abseil towers, a lake and woods for orienteering.   The centre also has a bar.

All PGL prices include full board accommodation, activities, instruction and equipment, with family-focused evening fun.

Other  Family Active centres open at Easter – all with free child deals – are Liddington in Wiltshire, Osmington Bay in Dorset, Little Canada on the Isle of Wight, Boreatton Park in Shropshire, Caythorpe Court in Lincolnshire and Dalguise in Perthshire.
