May Day short breaks for couples in Pembrokeshire cottages

Coastal Cottages of Pembrokeshire is highlighting May Day short breaks for couples in a choice of bijou properties including Woodview, a pretty retreat for two overlooking woodland near the village of Rhos in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.

Guests are welcomed with a jar of honey from the owner’s hives at the bottom of the garden – where regular visitors include woodpeckers, nuthatches, jays and pheasants – and the cottage with its open-plan living space and en suite bedroom, is perfectly placed for walks in glorious coastal and countryside scenery.  A dog-sitting service is also available if the family pet is taking a holiday too! Three nights from 3 May cost £300.

In the seaside town of Tenby – home to four glorious beaches – the Lantern Suite is a romantic hideaway for two just a few minutes’ walk from the town’s seafront, restaurants, galleries and small shops. It has a large open plan kitchen/dining area leading through to the sitting room from where sliding doors lead onto a small terrace and an enclosed pebble garden.  A three-night stay from 3 May is priced at £339.

Or the Cwtch – perched high above the seaside village of Penally near Tenby – is a gorgeous apartment in a 19th century property enjoying beautiful vistas over the coastline from the grounds.  The apartment, with an open-plan living space and en suite double bedroom, has been carefully renovated and is stylishly furnished with a contemporary twist and antique pieces.  There is a shared lawned garden with a raised decking area, the perfect place to relax and soak up the views, and a 10-minute walks leads to the beach.  Three nights from 3 May cost £449.

Four-night breaks for two from £99 with Coastal Cottages of Pembrokeshire

Chase away the post-Christmas blues on a four-night break from just £99 per couple, courtesy of Coastal Cottages of Pembrokeshire.

This special £99 Spring Short Break deal applies between 5 January and 2 April (excluding weeks beginning 9 and 16 February) at selected cottages in a choice of coastal or countryside locations and is based on two people sharing one bedroom in the chosen property.

Featured £99 properties include Heather Cottage, a traditional property converted from an original stone barn in the quite hamlet of Rogeston and less than a five-minute drive from the beaches at Nolton and Druidston.  It is full of character with A-frame beams, a vaulted ceiling, stone walls and slate floors.

Or for just a little more at £125 for four nights is Ivy Cottage, situated just a three-minute stroll from the beach in the picturesque little fishing village of Little Haven and ideally placed for walking the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.  The cottage has been carefully renovated by local craftsmen and the cosy sitting room has an open fire

Short breaks at Early May Bank Holiday with Coastal Cottages of Pembrokeshire

With Easter now behind us and for those looking forward to the next, Coastal Cottage of Pembrokeshire is highlighting short break packages to a choice of properties at early May Bank Holiday.

With panoramic views across Carmarthen Bay and just a two-minute walk from the beach at Saundersfoot is White Sails, a smart property (sleeping six in three bedrooms) with stunning vistas from its front glass edged terrace. A short stroll leads to the centre of this picture-postcard village with its independent shops, pubs and restaurants.  Three nights from 4 May cost £605.

Four-night winter cottage breaks in Pembrokeshire from £99 per couple…

 Four-night winter breaks – costing from as little as £99 per couple – have been announced by Coastal Cottages of Pembrokeshire.

This special offer, which equates to just £12.50 per person, per night, is applicable at selected cottages between 1 November and 18 December and is based on two people sharing one bedroom in the chosen property.
