For couples restricted to taking their holiday in peak season, Seal Cottage is a converted stone barn, one of six properties just 200 yards from Aberfforest beach, which is ideal for swimming or kayaking and the haunt of seals and dolphins.  The cottage – now costing £542 (a reduction of  £135) for seven nights from 25 August – sleeps two and has an open-plan living space with A-frame beams and slate floors plus a galleried double bedroom in the eaves.
