PGL Family Adventures at Half Term: four nights now from just £159

Remaining May half term family breaks at PGL’s adventure centres in the UK are now discounted, with prices pitched at just £159 per person, representing a massive saving of up to £800 for a family of four!

The five-day/four-night breaks all start Monday 28 May and include simple but ensuite accommodation (parents and children in separate rooms), all meals, activities, instruction and equipment, as well as family-focussed evening fun.

The breaks are offered at PGL’s family adventure centres Barton Hall in Devon, Caythorpe Court in Lincolnshire and Liddington in Wiltshire.

Now, parents and children alike pay just £159 per person, saving up to £230 per parent, and up to £170 per child on original brochure prices.

The biggest saving is at PGL’s fabulous adventure centre above Torbay in Devon, where four nights at Barton Hall will now cost a family of two adults and two children aged five to 18 years just £636 (£159 x four), saving a huge £800 off the original price!

Barton Hall is set in 46 acres of the English Riviera, with distant sea views and amazing facilities including an outdoor heated swimming pool (in use for half term), zip wires, giant swings and a lake where canoeing and raft building take place. Other activities (which are also organised at Caythorpe Court and Liddington) include archery, fencing, abseiling and ropes courses.

With this offer, the equivalent saving on the Caythorpe Court and Liddington breaks is an amazing £680 for a family of four.  Quote MAY199 when booking.

Children two to four years are also welcome, and are free, but must be supervised at all times by a parent, which impacts on the adult’s ability to take part in activities.

Parents Go Half Price on PGL Family Adventures this Summer

PGL – the original and best activity holiday company – has a new offer on Family Adventure holidays in the UK this summer, with each full-paying child able to take along a parent at half price!

The deal is on selected dates at six family activity centres in Britain: in Devon, Suffolk, Perthshire, Lincolnshire, Wiltshire and the Isle of Wight.

For example, Barton Hall is set in 46 acres above Torbay in Devon and has fantastic facilities for family holidays from an outdoor heated pool to abseil towers, archery ranges and mountain bike trails. Seven night holidays starting 4, 11, 18 and 25 August are included in the Parents Go Half Price offer.

Barton Hall offers a choice of simple but ensuite family rooms, or separate ensuite rooms for parents and children.

Adult prices start at £489 per person in a family room, and at £529 per person in an adult twin. Now, those prices are slashed in half when children aged five to 18 years pay brochure price of £409 (in a family room) or £449 (in a separate room).

This means that a family of two children and two parents occupying separate rooms would pay a total of £1427, saving a massive £529. When sharing a family room the price falls to £1307, saving £489.

Children as young as five are usually able to tackle all the activities on offer at Barton Hall. Two, three and four year olds are welcome, and are FREE but are too young to participate and – as PGL does not offer crèche facilities – a parent must be responsible for such youngsters at all times, which will impact on their ability to take part.

To take advantage of the offer, quote MAY58 when booking by 4 May.

Two-night weekend breaks are organised in Dorset, Wiltshire, Shropshire and Lincolnshire, with start dates of 20 and 27 October to suit all school holiday dates.

As an example of price, adults now pay just £109 (saving £56), and children five to 18 years pay £99 (saving £46) for a two-night break at Caythorpe Court in Lincolnshire starting 20 October, when sharing an en-suite family room. The new deal means that a family of two adults and two children save a massive £204 on their break!

The same prices and savings apply at Liddington in Wiltshire on 20 or 27 October, at Osmington Bay in Dorset on 20 October, and at Boreatton Park in Shropshire on 20 or 27 October.

Four-night mid-week breaks at the same centres now cost from £209 per adult (saving £96) and from £179 per child (saving £76), again based on sharing a family room, and representing a huge saving of £344 on a family of four!  Start dates are 23 and 30 October.

In all cases, the break includes simple accommodation, either in a family room with en-suite shower/wc, or (at a higher price) separate rooms for parents and children; plus all meals and action-packed days tackling – as a family – activities ranging from the skills of archery and fencing to the thrills of the high-flying trapeze and zip wire. All specialist equipment and instruction is also provided.

Evenings are full of family-friendly fun, and as well as extensive grounds all centres have plenty of indoor space with lounges and a bar so that parents can enjoy a well-earned glass of wine!
