Save 50% on Half Term Family Adventures at PGL Centres

Activity holiday company PGL is offering 50% off Family Adventure breaks at three of its UK centres this October half term.

Four-night Monday to Friday breaks start on 22 and 29 October, with prices now from £588 for a family of two adults and two children five to 18 years, saving £588 – half price! That’s when sharing a simple but ensuite family room.

When parents opt for a twin with children in an adjacent room, a four-night stay is also now half price, down to £628.

As always with PGL, breaks include accommodation, all meals, activities, equipment and family-orientated evening fun, making them great value. Locations with half price breaks are Liddington in Wiltshire, Boreatton Park on the Welsh borders and Osmington Bay on Dorset’s Jurassic Coast.

Activities vary from centre to centre but may include archery, aeroball, ropes course challenges, climbing and fencing.

While most children aged five and upwards can take part in all activities, tinies aged two, three and four years old are also welcome and are completely free, but PGL does not have creche facilities so a parent must take responsibility for the non-participating child at all times.

For example, at Bawdsey Manor on the Suffolk Heritage Coast, everyone now pays just £89 each, whether adult or child and regardless of room type. Brochure prices for families booking a separate room for the parents, with children in an adjacent room were £199 per adult and £179 per child, which means a family of four now saves a total of £400!

UK Family Adventures: FREE PLACES for parents OR kids at PGL

Summer holidays at selected PGL Family Adventure dates are now discounted, with free places for children OR for parents, depending on the location and holiday date. For example, a family of four can save up to £1058 on a fully-inclusive week in Devon.

The first offer is amazing! For each full-paying child aged five to 18 years at the brochure price of £449, up to TWO parents are now completely free, saving £529 per adult, or £1058 for a family of two children accompanied by two (free) parents.

That’s for a seven-night holiday at Barton Hall near Torquay where the 46 acres have superb facilities from an outdoor heated pool to giant swings, a lake and a zip wire. There’s even a dry ski slope next door for optional ski sessions (small supplement) and flexibility in the centre’s activity programme to repeat a favourite activity, or simply take time out to enjoy the pool, or a cream tea.

Discounted weeks at Barton Hall start Saturdays 4, 11 and 25 August. The price includes all meals, activities and equipment as well as evening fun, and is based on parents having their own simple but ensuite room with the children in an adjacent room.

With this amazing deal, a family with three children would ‘earn’ themselves SIX free adult places! That makes this a stupendous offer for extended families looking to holiday together. Quote LR18X when booking this deal.

The second offer is that for each full-paying adult at the brochure price of £489, up to TWO children aged five to 18 years are now completely free, saving £409 per child, or £818 for a family of two adults and two children. A family of two adults and three children would still only pay £818, as would a family of two adults with four (free) kids!

This deal is offered at Caythorpe Court in Lincolnshire where more than 20 different activities may feature in a week’s holiday. It is based on a family of four sharing a simple but ensuite room for seven nights starting 11, 18 or 25 August. Quote LR28X when booking this deal.

Other final offers on UK family adventures include free child places on four-night breaks in Devon, Lincolnshire, Shropshire, Wiltshire and Dorset, and two-night activity weekends from just £99 per person regardless of age.

All Family Adventure offers must be booked by 17 August.

PGL Family Adventures at Half Term: four nights now from just £159

Remaining May half term family breaks at PGL’s adventure centres in the UK are now discounted, with prices pitched at just £159 per person, representing a massive saving of up to £800 for a family of four!

The five-day/four-night breaks all start Monday 28 May and include simple but ensuite accommodation (parents and children in separate rooms), all meals, activities, instruction and equipment, as well as family-focussed evening fun.

The breaks are offered at PGL’s family adventure centres Barton Hall in Devon, Caythorpe Court in Lincolnshire and Liddington in Wiltshire.

Now, parents and children alike pay just £159 per person, saving up to £230 per parent, and up to £170 per child on original brochure prices.

The biggest saving is at PGL’s fabulous adventure centre above Torbay in Devon, where four nights at Barton Hall will now cost a family of two adults and two children aged five to 18 years just £636 (£159 x four), saving a huge £800 off the original price!

Barton Hall is set in 46 acres of the English Riviera, with distant sea views and amazing facilities including an outdoor heated swimming pool (in use for half term), zip wires, giant swings and a lake where canoeing and raft building take place. Other activities (which are also organised at Caythorpe Court and Liddington) include archery, fencing, abseiling and ropes courses.

With this offer, the equivalent saving on the Caythorpe Court and Liddington breaks is an amazing £680 for a family of four.  Quote MAY199 when booking.

Children two to four years are also welcome, and are free, but must be supervised at all times by a parent, which impacts on the adult’s ability to take part in activities.
