New Year cottages in Pembrokeshire reduced in price…

There’s still time to book a cottage at New Year – and bag a bargain to boot – is the message from Coastal Cottages of Pembrokeshire.  Properties reduced in price include:

Cosgod Ingli
is a beautifully renovated cottage in the seaside town of Newport in Pembrokeshire set on a quiet lane nestling under Carn Ingli (the Mountain of Angels). This snug property sleeps four in two bedrooms (one en suite) and its cosy sitting/dining has a wood-burning stove.  A five-minute walk leads to Newport, with its range of shops, pubs and excellent restaurants as well as a glorious sandy beach.  A seven-night holiday from 28 December is now priced at £596, a reduction of £144.

White Sails is a smart property in the seaside village of Saundersfoot which enjoys panoramic views over Carmarthen Bay and over Saundersfoot Harbour.  It sleeps six in three bedrooms and has a light and airy sitting room with beautiful views across the sea – a lovely place to welcome in the New Year – plus a smart kitchen and a raised balcony, again with fabulous views.  A short stroll leads to the centre of the village with its bustling independent shops and restaurants, plus a beach and harbour.  A seven-night holiday from 28 December is now priced at £1254, a reduction of £310.

35 Angle
is a Grade 2 listed cottage in the popular coastal village of Angle which dates back to the 1840s.  It has been carefully renovated and has a lounge/dining room with a woodburning stove, plus a second sitting room and a well-equipped kitchen.  It sleeps five in three bedrooms and has a large garden. Angle is a pretty and peaceful little village with a long sea-faring tradition and where excellent coastal and woodland walks can be enjoyed. Christmas and New Year cottages reduced in price…

Savings on Christmas and New Year cottage holidays in glorious rural or coastal locations have been announced by Coastal Cottages of Pembrokeshire.

For example, a week in The Cottage – a picturesque period thatched property in the seaside village of Saundersfoot  – now costs £1174 (saving £286) for a week from 22 December or £1374 (a reduction of £336) for seven nights from 29 December.  This listed five-star cottage sleeps eight in four bedrooms and is full of character with an inglenook fireplace, leaded windows and beams.  Short breaks are also available.

Or, in the hamlet of Llanddinog, is No Name Cottage, a carefully converted stone milking parlour with beams, exposed stonework and arched windows tucked away in the beautiful Pembrokeshire countryside.  This spacious property sleeps seven in four bedrooms and has two sitting rooms, both with woodburning stoves.  A three-mile drive leads to the picturesque harbour village of Solva.  A week from 22 December now costs £749 (saving £181), or seven nights from 29 December is now priced at £889 (a reduction of £216.)

And, for those who fancy the luxury of a hot tub in the garden, a week from 22 December in Wilwin – offering superb contemporary accommodation in the village of Maenclochog at the foothills of the Preselli Hills – is now priced at £724 (saving £181), or £880 (a reduction of £220) for seven nights from 29 December.  The property sleeps six in three bedrooms (one en suite) and is surrounded by footpaths, ancient tracks and quiet lanes, perfect for keen walkers and cyclists.  A drive of around 20 minutes leads to the seaside town of Newport or the bustling market town of Haverfordwest.

Christmas and New Year savings of up to 50% on Pembrokeshire Cottages…

Coastal Cottages of Pembrokeshire has announced savings of up to 50% on a choice of properties for Christmas and New Year.

Houses on offer include Poacher’s Cottage (sleeping six) where a week from 22 December is now priced at £382 (saving £382), or from 29 December £460 (a reduction of £460). The cottage is one of 16 privately-owned properties at the Ivy Tower Village in the historic village of St Florence and guests enjoy shared use of an indoor pool, sauna and tennis court.
St Florence has two pubs and just four miles away is the walled seaside town of Tenby which will be buzzing with Christmas and New Year celebrations.

Also sleeping six is Bramble Cottage overlooking St Bride’s Bay where seven nights from 22 December is reduced to £679 (saving £311), or £825 (a reduction of £363) from 29 December. New Year UK cottage getaways with Sykes Cottages
