Save 50% on Half Term Family Adventures at PGL Centres

Activity holiday company PGL is offering 50% off Family Adventure breaks at three of its UK centres this October half term.

Four-night Monday to Friday breaks start on 22 and 29 October, with prices now from £588 for a family of two adults and two children five to 18 years, saving £588 – half price! That’s when sharing a simple but ensuite family room.

When parents opt for a twin with children in an adjacent room, a four-night stay is also now half price, down to £628.

As always with PGL, breaks include accommodation, all meals, activities, equipment and family-orientated evening fun, making them great value. Locations with half price breaks are Liddington in Wiltshire, Boreatton Park on the Welsh borders and Osmington Bay on Dorset’s Jurassic Coast.

Activities vary from centre to centre but may include archery, aeroball, ropes course challenges, climbing and fencing.

While most children aged five and upwards can take part in all activities, tinies aged two, three and four years old are also welcome and are completely free, but PGL does not have creche facilities so a parent must take responsibility for the non-participating child at all times.

Quote FAOCT50 when booking.

PGL Family Adventures at Half Term: four nights now from just £159

Remaining May half term family breaks at PGL’s adventure centres in the UK are now discounted, with prices pitched at just £159 per person, representing a massive saving of up to £800 for a family of four!

The five-day/four-night breaks all start Monday 28 May and include simple but ensuite accommodation (parents and children in separate rooms), all meals, activities, instruction and equipment, as well as family-focussed evening fun.

The breaks are offered at PGL’s family adventure centres Barton Hall in Devon, Caythorpe Court in Lincolnshire and Liddington in Wiltshire.

Now, parents and children alike pay just £159 per person, saving up to £230 per parent, and up to £170 per child on original brochure prices.

The biggest saving is at PGL’s fabulous adventure centre above Torbay in Devon, where four nights at Barton Hall will now cost a family of two adults and two children aged five to 18 years just £636 (£159 x four), saving a huge £800 off the original price!

Barton Hall is set in 46 acres of the English Riviera, with distant sea views and amazing facilities including an outdoor heated swimming pool (in use for half term), zip wires, giant swings and a lake where canoeing and raft building take place. Other activities (which are also organised at Caythorpe Court and Liddington) include archery, fencing, abseiling and ropes courses.

With this offer, the equivalent saving on the Caythorpe Court and Liddington breaks is an amazing £680 for a family of four.  Quote MAY199 when booking.

Children two to four years are also welcome, and are free, but must be supervised at all times by a parent, which impacts on the adult’s ability to take part in activities.

Kids Go Free on PGL Family Adventure Holidays

Families looking for adventure in the UK or France can save hundreds of pounds with PGL on a new ‘Kids Go Free’ deal. But hurry – bookings must be confirmed by 30 June.

Among a raft of late-booking deals, the stand-out offer is on seven-night holidays in Devon, Lincolnshire, Perthshire and France: for every full-paying adult, up to two children under 18 years are completely free!

For example, a seven-night family holiday at Barton Hall on Devon’s English Riviera starting 22 July, 5 or 12 August costs £469 per adult.  A child aged five to 18 years would normally pay £389, but is now free!

That means a family of two adults and up to four children sharing an ensuite family room will now pay £938 with a potential saving of £1556. Barton Hall in Devon has a superb array of family-friendly activities all included in the price, ranging from archery to zip wire thrills – with an outdoor pool to enjoy too.

The same Kids Go Free offer applies to week-long holidays at Caythorpe Court in Lincolnshire starting 29 July and 5 August, and to Dalguise in Perthshire starting 22 and 29 July.

Alternatively, in France, where PGL’s Chateau de Grande Romaine makes a superb base for activities and theme park fun, the seven night Disneyland Adventure starting 23 July, 13 or 27 August costs £549 per adult.  A child aged five to 18 years would normally pay £505, but is now free!

That means a family of two adults and up to four children sharing an ensuite family room will now pay £1098 with a potential saving of £2020. The superb adventure centre is just half an hour from Disneyland Paris and the package includes not only three days of fun activities on site, but tickets for two full days in the theme park!

Travel to France is not included, but as with all PGL Family Adventure holidays, the price covers simple ensuite accommodation, all meals, activities, instruction and use of equipment as well as family-friendly evening fun.

Book by 30 June quoting offer code KGFW1.  Children aged two to four years are also welcome, but are too young to take part in activities, so a parent must take responsibility for care at all times.

Active Family Breaks in the UK, now from just £99

PGL – which is celebrating 60 years of adventure – has discounted its remaining Family Adventure breaks at Easter, with prices for a two-night weekend break now only £99 per person (adult or child).

That’s a saving of up to £100 per adult, and up to £76 per child on original brochure prices. What’s more, PGL’s child price covers five year olds up to and including strapping teenagers of 18, and all holidays are really inclusive.

£99 includes simple ensuite accommodation for two nights, all meals, fun and challenging activities, instruction and equipment, AND family-friendly evening entertainment all provided by enthusiastic PGL staff.

Two-night weekend breaks start 31 March, 7, or 15 April, with a choice of locations: Osmington Bay on Dorset’s Jurassic Coast, Liddington in Wiltshire, Boreatton Park in Shropshire and Caythorpe Court in Lincolnshire. Two nights at Dalguise in Perthshire is available 7 and 14 April.

Four-night multi-activity breaks at the same centres – plus at Little Canada on the Isle of White – are also discounted, to £199 per person (adult or child). This represents a saving of up to £126 per adult and up to £76 per child 5-18 years.  These Monday to Friday midweek breaks start on 3, 10 or 17 April.

In all cases, accommodation is typically in multi-bedded family rooms with private shower and wc, with limited availability – at the same price – on separate but adjacent rooms for parents and younger children.

Bookings must be made by 31 March, quoting FAEAS99 for two-night breaks, or FAEAS199 for the four-night break offer.
