New and unique, Cube-shaped villa with a private pool on Sicily…

Vintage Travel has expanded its portfolio of villas with private pools in Sicily for 2019 following its successful introduction in 2018.

Making its debut is Terzetto, a stylish and most unusual villa (sleeping eight) enjoying spectacular sea views above the village of Sant’Ambrogio.  Architect designed, it is a trio of cubes, one of stone and two clad in dark wood, a combination that contrasts with its natural surroundings.  The layout particularly suits groups of friends or families with older children as it allows a degree of independence and privacy.

The Main Suite houses the kitchen/living area, plus a bedroom and bathroom, Suite Two (a few steps across the lawn) contains a double bedroom and shower room, while Suite Three has two bedrooms with a shared shower room.   In its gardens there is a private swimming pool, terraces and a summer kitchen with a covered dining area (wood oven, built-in barbeque and a sink).  Head downhill to the village and beach of Sant’Ambrogio (three kms) or to Cefalu (nine kms) with its medieval centre.  A seven-night holiday in 2019 starts at £2930, rising to £4934 in peak season.

Il Nido is a stunning coastal retreat, situated on the hillside between Cefalu and Sant’Ambrogio, carefully designed to take advantage of the uninterrupted sea views from every corner, be it in the pool, on the deck, in the garden or lying in bed!  It sleeps four in two bedrooms (plus two bathrooms) and large picture windows and patio doors from the open-plan living area wrap around the villa blurring the line between indoor and out.

In its gardens there is a private infinity-edged swimming pool, covered and decked terraces, plus an outdoor kitchen, rustic in style (a cobbled floor, roof pantiles and beams) but with a variety of cooking facilities including a hob, barbeque and wood oven.  The sleepy village of Sant’Ambrogio is home to a supermarket and a couple of restaurants, plus a quiet beach.  Palermo can be reached by a drive of around one hour and 20 minutes.   A seven-night holiday in 2019 starts at £1998, rising to £3398 in peak season.

Flights and car hire can be arranged by Vintage Travel on request.
