August Bank Holiday short breaks from Coastal Cottages of Pembrokeshire

Coastal Cottages of Pembrokeshire is now offering August Bank Holiday short breaks, with properties on offer including Herondale, a beautifully renovated stone cottage in St Ishmaels.

The cottage, with exposed stonework and open beams, sleeps six in three bedrooms and from its garden a path leads to a pretty lake, perfect for bird watching, otter spotting or fishing.  It is surrounded by open countryside, but a few minutes’ drive leads to the seaside village of Little Haven and the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.  A three-night break from 23 August is priced at £736, equating to less than £123 per person, based on full occupancy.

In the centre of the tiny city of St Davids – with its magnificent cathedral and Bishops Palace – is Gorwel, a spacious property within walking distance of the beach at Caerfail and the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.  This beautifully removed 1930’s house sleeps six in three bedrooms and its location makes it an ideal base to explore all that Pembrokeshire has to offer.  Three nights from 23 August cost £824, equating to less than £138 per person, based on full occupancy.

Or larger parties could opt for Garden Pitts Retreat at Landshipping, a traditional stone farmhouse – set in half an acre of grounds – sleeping eight in four en suite bedrooms and just yards from the shores of the beautiful Cleddau Estuary in the Pembrokeshire National Park.  Three nights from 23 August is priced at £1262, equating to less than £158 per person, based on full occupancy.
