The flavours and colours of Jersey…

Head for Jersey this April and May, a time when the island will be bursting with flavour and colour.

The world-famous Jersey Royal potatoes will be making their debut, there will be an abundance of fresh shellfish, crabs and lobsters and the Jersey cows will be grazing on the lush green landscape resulting in delicious cream and ice cream.

And, as Jersey has rich, fertile soil, a mild climate and more hours of sunshine than anywhere else in the UK, the island will be in bloom, with rhododendrons, azaleas and camellias, making an impressive sight.

For those keen to visit the island during this time the Mayfair Hotel in St Helier is highlighting four-nights-for-the-price-of-three between 30 March and 3 May.

This means a four-night stay (including the free night) now cost from as little as £295 per person (twin share) inclusive of return flights from Gatwick or Liverpool, transfers and accommodation with breakfast.  Flights are also available from many other UK airports, supplements may apply.

Facilities at this three-star hotel – a short stroll from the centre of St Helier with its renowned Victorian market, bistros and restaurants – include an indoor swimming pool, a fully-equipped gym, a sun deck, plus a bar, coffee shop and restaurant.
