More new cottages for 2019 from Coastal Cottages of Pembrokeshire…

A selection of new properties in a choice of coastal and country locations have been added to the portfolio of independently-owned Coastal Cottages of Pembrokeshire for 2019.

These include Plumstone View Cottage, a superb barn conversion (sleeping two) set in the grounds of an imposing manor house in the heart of the countryside, five minutes’ drive from the village of Mathry.  This romantic little retreat – an ideal base to explore Pembrokeshire whatever the season – has an open-plan living area with a woodburning stove, plus a bedroom and shower room.  The coastline is just a 10-minute drive away and the bustling town of Fishguard and the tiny city of St Davids are all within easy reach.  A seven-night holiday in 2019 starts at £356, rising to £670 in peak season.

Situated in countryside just outside the town of Pembroke is Highfields Cottage, a single-storey property on a seven-acre small holding of which guests are welcome to explore.  The cottage, which sleeps six in three bedrooms, has a spacious open-plan living area with a woodburning stove and French doors lead to a terrace and a large lawned garden.  A range of stunning beaches – such as Barafundle Bay and Freshwater East – are all within a short drive.  A week in 2019 starts at £500, increasing to £899 during peak season.

Or Penrallt is a picturesque stone cottage (sleeping four) tucked way down a narrow lane in the heart of Fishguard overlooking the harbour and with views out to sea.  Carefully renovated, the property retains its old-world charm with beams throughout and gothic windows.  A footpath leads straight to the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and a choice of excellent pubs, restaurants, shops and galleries are all close by.  A seven-night holiday in 2019 leads in at £390, rising to £750 during peak season.
