Bank Holiday bargains from Coastal Cottages of Pembrokeshire…

Bag a bargain-priced August Bank Holiday break before the start of the new school term, is the invitation from Coastal Cottages of Pembrokeshire.

Properties on offer include Nethercote, a specious detached house – sleeping 10 in five bedrooms (two en suite) – set above the beautiful sandy beach of Freshwater East.  Bi-folding doors at the back of the living space open onto a large balcony and the property also has a games room to keep the children entertained.  In the grounds there is a hot tub and a path leads down to the beach below.  Seven nights from 25 August now cost £2329, saving £582.

For smaller families, Weaver’s Cottage is a mid-terrace Victorian property in the small village of Llanmill set in the glorious Pembrokeshire countryside.  It sleeps four in two bedrooms and is full of character but with all mod cons.  A 10-minute drive leads to the market town of Narberth – renowned for its restaurants, delis and small independent shops – and the sandy beaches at Saundersfoot, Tenby and Amroth are close by.  A week from 25 August is now priced at £617, saving £265.

For couples restricted to taking their holiday in peak season, Seal Cottage is a converted stone barn, one of six properties just 200 yards from Aberfforest beach, which is ideal for swimming or kayaking and the haunt of seals and dolphins.  The cottage – now costing £542 (a reduction of  £135) for seven nights from 25 August – sleeps two and has an open-plan living space with A-frame beams and slate floors plus a galleried double bedroom in the eaves.
