With temperatures rising, availability is disappearing, but for those quick off the mark there’s still time to grab a bargain deal says Coastal Cottages of Pembrokeshire.

Offers include seven-night holidays – starting on 4 or 25 August – at Shepherd’s Cottage now priced at £556, saving £139.  This single-storey barn conversion sleeps three in two bedrooms and is one of five properties at Upper Hoaten Cottages near St Brides.  Shared facilities include a hot tub, a games room, a children’s play area, a 10ft trampoline and a Scandinavian-style barbeque cabin.

For larger families, a week at Turnstones in the village of St Ishmaels – from 4 or 25 August – is now priced at £964, a reduction of £241.  This spacious single-storey property sleeps eight in four bedrooms (one en suite) and is a short walk to the village pub.  Sandy Haven, Lindsway Beach and the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path are less than a mile away.

Or, for couples, a week from 18 or 25 August in Lower Coach House – situated on the slopes of a wooded valley overlooking the harbour at Lower Town, Fishguard – now costs £462, saving £116.  This apartment is part of a characterful, stone building and has direct access to the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and is just 150 metres from the town square.
