Easter savings from Coastal Cottages of Pembrokeshire

Coastal Cottages of Pembrokeshire has announced savings on selected cottages at Easter, including Wilwin, a contemporary property – ideal for a family getaway – which comes complete with a hot tub and games room.

The cottage, which sleeps six in three bedrooms (one en suite), is on the edge of the village of Maenclochog and enjoys glorious views across the Pembrokeshire countryside.  The area teems in bird and wildlife and has many footpaths, ancient tracks and quiet lanes, ideal for keen walkers, cyclists and horse riders. Newport, with its sandy beach, is within a 20-minute drive.  A seven-night holiday from 30 March is priced at £576, saving £144.

Larger parties could opt for Grove House, a spacious gentleman’s residence (sleeping eight) which dates back to 1790 and overlooks the unspoilt seaside village of Llansteffan.  It retains much of its Georgian charm – high ceilings, sash windows and wooden shutters – and guests enjoy shared use of two acres of terraced and landscaped grounds.  A stroll of around five minutes leads to a glorious sandy beach.  A week’s holiday from 31 March now costs £852, a reduction of £207.

Or if there is a keen golfer in the family, Norchard, is a superb timber framed lodge on the wooded slopes of the Trefloyne Golf Club.  It sleeps seven in three bedrooms and on the ground floor there is a wrap around verandah and the first floor living room has floor to ceiling gable windows opening onto a balcony.  The walled seaside town of Tenby – with its beaches, shops, galleries and restaurants – is less than a mile away and golfers are welcome to bring their clubs to try their hand on this picturesque course.  A week’s holiday from 31 March is now priced at £795, saving £137.
