Extra Departure Dates for Single Skiers, from £750

Sociable singles holiday company Friendship Travel is adding two new departures to its ski season in Alpe d’Huez.

“The resort has so much snow – three metres deep at the top of the mountain – that we can be confident about extending the season to April,” says managing director Colum McLornan.

The two new departures are from Gatwick on 24 March with prices from £895, and on 7 April with packages starting at just £750.

Breakfast and afternoon tea every day, five dinners with wine, and the support of a Friendship Travel Host are all included in the price, as are lessons on six mornings – ski or board – with the resort’s ESF ski school.

Chalet Maya is in the heart of the ‘old’ resort of Alpe d’Huez, only 100 metres from the ski hire shop, and from the basket lift that takes skiers to the resort’s ski school meeting point.

The chalet has just seven rooms and plenty of traditional alpine character. Guests can enjoy both the privacy of their own room and the company of other single people for a sociable week in the Alps.

2018 is Friendship Travel’s 20th season of offering holidays for single travellers.
