Family-friendly half-term holidays in Pembrokeshire

A wealth of family-friendly properties – offering lots of facilities and situated in a choice of coastal or countryside locations – is the offer this February half-term from Coastal Cottages of Pembrokeshire.

These include Meadow Green Farm Cottages, a group of three renovated properties set in 22 acres of farmland, a 15-minute walk from the seaside village of Saundersfoot.

The farm has two enclosed fishing lakes, an outdoor play area, a woodland walk alongside a babbling brook, plus ‘the beach hut’, a well-stocked play room for children with books, games, toys and DVDs.  A seven-night half-term holiday from 11 February in, for example, Cornflower Cottage (sleeping four) costs £408.

Families with older children could opt for the Ivy Tower Holiday Village, a group of 19 privately-owned cottages where on-site shared facilities include heated indoor pool, sauna, fully-equipped gym and tennis.

The Village is situated in the historical village of St Florence and is just a short drive from the seaside town of Tenby. Just around the corner is the Manor House Wildlife Park –  Anna Ryder Richardson’s Welsh zoo – and also just a stroll away is the Heatherton Country Sports Park featuring riding, paintball, go-karts, laser clays and archery.

A seven-night half-term holiday from 11 February in, for instance, The Woolpack (sleeping six) costs £400.
